The Myosomatic Institute was created to help people develop a more curious, compassionate relationship with the body.
Our approach combines somatic awareness, nervous system education, fascia-informed principles, and practical tools for understanding and responding to the sensations we experience.
Rather than asking, “How do I make this feeling go away?” we begin with a different question:
Through education, experiential practices, and professional training, we teach people how to meet the body with calm, compassionate curiosity.
Notice sensation, patterns, tension, and response without immediately trying to change them.
Develop practical ways of supporting safety, capacity, and nervous-system flexibility.
Explore how experience, expectation, and learned responses can change through new experiences.
Bring awareness and regulation into movement, touch, relationships, and everyday life.
The Myosomatic Institute was founded by TJ Kropf, LMT, BCTMB, from years of exploring what changes when we stop treating the body as something to fight against, and begin learning how to listen to it.
Myosomatics brings together massage therapy, fascia-informed practice, nervous system education, somatic awareness, and lived experience into an approach centered on calm, compassionate curiosity.

Whether you're a bodyworker expanding your practice or simply curious about your own experience, there's a place to begin.
